Research

馃崈 I'm currently looking for PhD positions in Europe or the USA. I'd like to do design research exploring:
feminist technoscience 路 care 路 ecofeminism 路 DIY/crafting 路 women's health 路 rituals

During my master thesis I focused on the design of technologies to support the menstrual cycle. The work was then reiterated on and reframed as a research contribution proposing 'touch' as central to generating bodily knowledge.

I'm interested in working within a feminist HCI framework, and I'm curious to explore feminist post-humanities, speculative design, ethics/matters of care.

鈥淵es, some new technology emerged once everyone was permitted a decent education. But there was no trick to it. No quick fix. The problem wasn鈥檛 technological.鈥

鈥淲hat, then?鈥

鈥淚 told you. People just decided to take care of each other.鈥

鈥淭echnology is not neutral. We鈥檙e inside of what we make, and it鈥檚 inside of us. We鈥檙e living in a world of connections 鈥 and it matters which ones get made and unmade.鈥 鈥 Donna J. Haraway, 1997.

鈥淚 think of feminism as poetry; we hear histories in words; we reassemble histories by putting them into words.鈥 鈥 Sara Ahmed, Living a Feminist Life
